Emma Williams has ten years experience working in Bogles Pre-Primary School in Carriacou and also assists slow learners in secondary school. In 2006 she introduced Jolly Phonics to her school with remarkable results. She travels to the main island of Grenada to demonstrate teaching with Jolly Phonics, and teachers from schools there have visited her classroom to observe her teaching. She says, “It works and it is fun”.
Nerissa Fortune has used Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar with her students and had great results. She has travelled to various schools on the Tri-island State of Grenada and neighbouring islands, helping teachers and talking to them about Jolly Phonics. She currently specialises at her primary school in Carriacou, teaching reading to students from all grades.
