Hyde Park, Vermont
Diane Marcoux-LaClair and Melissa Ramsey have 30 years of experience teaching Kindergarten. Barb Malinger is a reading specialist with ESL certification who has used Jolly Phonics with her K-2 students with great success. Dawn Farmer has been teaching kindergarten for 8 years, taught pre-kindergarten for 2 years and has been using Jolly Phonics since 2002. Dawn has a Masters Degree in Reading and gives presentations on Jolly Phonics at conferences and school districts. Mary has been a first grade teacher since 1996. Before that she taught pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and Title I, “In my 30 years of teaching I have not used a phonics program that is as motivating, fun and exciting for students and teachers as Jolly Phonics. Jolly Phonics gives both phonetic readers and sight readers the tools they need to be successful readers and writers.” Mary uses Jolly Grammar in a variety of ways to introduce and reinforce grammar and also to develop spelling skills. Jan has been a Kindergarten and Special Education teacher for 20 years. Jan always looks for new programs and ideas, and has been very impressed with the outstanding results she’s had with Jolly Phonics. Jan loves the multi-sensory approach and the enthusiasm the program generates with the students. Jan has taught pre-service classes for those considering an Education degree at Northern Arizona University and Coconino Community College. Jan now also enjoys providing training for those interested in starting with Jolly Phonics.

Kris Casillas has taught with Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar for many years. Kris has seen amazing transformations every year in her students reading and writing abilities. She provides training throughout the Midwest.
With an MA in Education from California, Katie Kohn has taught in Los Angeles, at an International School in Helsinki, Finland, and in Ostrava, Czech Republic. She sees how Jolly Phonics reaches different modalities (visual, auditory, kinesthetic) with stories and songs that are fun and easy for children to learn and recall. She is enthusiastic and passionate about this teaching and she wants to enable other teachers, and children, to achieve with it.
Susan Whittaker has taught Kindergarten and early childhood special education in the Chicagoland area for many years, where she has used Jolly Phonics as her foundation phonics program. As part of an EdD at Aurora University, she has also researched the use of Jolly Phonics as a whole-group curriculum as well as its use in small group reading intervention, with remarkable results. She is eager to support school districts and teachers in the use of the program.
Callie Dixon is a licensed school psychologist. She has given training in Jolly Phonics to teachers in her role as both a psychologist and coach, and has delivered literacy interventions herself using Jolly Phonics. As a trained researcher, she sees the effectiveness of Jolly Phonics in research. She would be pleased to give training in the program, and separately in the collection and evaluation of data in literacy interventions.

Georgia
Laura is an experienced teacher of Kindergarten and Grade 1, with a Masters in Early Childhood Education. She has achieved outstanding results working with children of all abilities and has most recently been working as a Reading Intervention Teacher, helping those children who find reading hardest. She is eager to provide training in Jolly Phonics to teachers and schools in order to raise standards across the board.
Joy gained her degree in Early Childhood Education and has been teaching for 13 years in Hong Kong, China, the Philippines before settling in her current location in Los Angeles. She has been teaching with Jolly Phonics for the last 10 years. Joy currently works as the assistant director of a Preschool and Kindergarten in L.A, as well as running her own tutoring company, Agape Learning Institute. She is eager to introduce other teachers to Jolly Phonics because of the confidence it gives children when they unlock their reading skills and how effective it is with children of all ethnic backgrounds.
